UP Rector asking for maximal use of on-line methods for examining students

Tuesday 12 January 2021, 10:20

The Rector of Palacký University Olomouc has made an emphatic appeal for the necessity of reflecting on the critical epidemic situation in the Czech Republic and examining students on-line, whenever possible, if their physical presence is not required. This interpretation logically follows up on the current directives of the Ministry of Education, as well as the fact that students often do not currently have necessary accommodation in Olomouc.

Updated information on the course of the upcoming semester will be available after discussions with UP faculties, other universities, and the Ministry of Education by the end of January, with the current on-line means of instruction expected to remain in place and predominant at least throughout the whole of February.
