
Bachelor & master study
The Faculty offers all study programmes in Czech language. Some parts of the Faculty study programmes are available also in English language. They are offered to international students arriving in Olomouc within the framework of European educational programmes (Erasmus, CEEPUS, Erasmus Mundus, etc.) and/or within the framework of exchange agreements (for example agreement with Valdosta State University or Miami University, U.S.A.).

THE BACHELOR STUDY PROGRAMS
Adapted Physical Activities
This three-year bachelor study programme has a primarily practical focus and prepares specialists in physical education for people with disabilities.
Civic Defence
This three-year bachelor study programme produces specialists in enlightenment education especially at schools and other institutions connected with civic studies.
Management of Sports and Sports Training
This three-year bachelor study programme has a primarily practical focus and prepares graduates for careers as sports and training managers.
Physiotherapy
This three-year bachelor study programme produces rehabilitation assistants fully qualified to work in health-care centres.
Physical Education
This three-year bachelor study programme produces pedagogical assistants and specialists in leisure activities focused on movement activities (PE + the other subject).
Physical Education and Sports
This three-year bachelor study programme produces teachers for primary schools, pedagogical assistants and organizers of all types of recreational and leisure activities.
Recreology
This three-year bachelor study programme produces professional managers and organisers qualified to work in the area of health promotion, recreation, physical conditioning, regeneration and re-socialisation.
THE MASTER STUDY PROGRAMS
Physical Education Teaching for Primary SchoolsThis study programme is divided into its three-year bachelor degree and two-year master degree part. It is studied in combination with another teaching subject area chosen from the offer of the Faculty of Education (particularly Mathematics, Czech Language, Natural Sciences or a foreign language). The graduates are qualified to teach Physical Education as well as their second subject area at all levels of primary schools.
Physical Education Teaching for Secondary Schools
This study programme is divided into its three-year bachelor degree and two-year master degree part. It is studied in combination with another teaching subject area chosen from the offer of either the Faculty of Science or the Philosophical Faculty (particularly Mathematics, Czech Language, Natural Sciences or a foreign language). The graduates are qualified to teach Physical Education and their second subject area at all levels of secondary schools.
Physiotherapy
This two-year master study programme continues the three-year bachelor study programme and graduates achieve the highest level of non-medical education in Physiotherapy. Graduates are qualified to become professional assistants of physicians in the area of Physiotherapy.
Recreology
The two-year master study programme can be visited by those who have completed the three-year bachelor study programme. It prepares professional managers and organisers qualified to work in the area of health promotion, recreation, physical conditioning, regeneration and re-socialisation. Graduates can participate in producing programmes for individual physical exercise and leisure activities or be employed in the area of the working environment or in sport activities management.
Adapted Physical Education
The two-year master study programme continues the three-year bachelor study programme and prepares teachers of physical education to work with people (children as well as adults) with special needs. This study programme includes both obligatory physical education at schools or specialised institutions as well as other possible forms of after school or leisure activities. The study programme is also open for students with disabilities.
